HOTEL JANE, Florence – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were lovely, quiet, clean, and comfortable, but they were small and infested with mosquitos, leaving my girlfriend and me spotted all over with stings. The service was generally good, with some standout helpful staff, particularly Lucia at reception. However, there were noisy gatherings in the reception very early in the morning. The location was strategic for exploring Florence but a bit far from the train station and the main attractions. The dining experience varied from a feast every morning to very mediocre, with a mix of good and disappointing offerings. The facilities were decent, with some room for improvement.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and had a great value in Florence. The location, although not very close to the main tourist area, was on a quiet street within easy walking distance of all the attractions. The dining experience with a view out the back was excellent, although I wished there were more home-made desserts. The facilities were great, and overall it was a wonderful experience.
